The globally dynamic workforce of today requires meeting professionals  to stir multiple pots. Creativity and thinking outside the box are musts. Diversity is about stretching with a dynamic workforce. Being able to work with  people of different ethnic groups, different age groups, gender, different sexual orientation, different religions, different thought, and people with disabilities, is key to growth, success, and influence. Diversity affects the bottom line. Becoming a better leader in diversity requires a shift from logistics to strategic. Learning to work through the age generation gap is key. Effective listening and communication skills can help to untangle the knots that arise in diversity related matters in the workplace and avoid potential lawsuits.

Practical nuts n’ bolts that happen in a diverse workforce today are fleshed out in simple terms by the presenter, Preethi Fernando.
Speaker Bio: Preethi Fernando is the author of six books and a speaker, including “17 Women Who Shook the World.” She is the winner of Stephen King’s Haven Foundation Award, given to one author each year. Originally from the exotic island of Sri Lanka, Preethi now calls Loveland, Colorado, her home.
